PETTIMUDI HILL TOP (KOOMPAN PARA)

Pettimudi is a beautiful mountain located a short distance from the Adimali - Munnar route in the Idukki district of Kerala. It is about 3 kilometers from Adimali to Pettimudi. The car was parked at the bottom of the hill. It takes about an hour of trekking to reach the top of the mountain. Although many tourists visit Munnar, not many people know about this beautiful place. Pettimudi is definitely a wonderful place for those who love trekking and mountain climbing. The beautiful cliffs, mountain slopes and lush green shola forests make the trek spectacular.

CHEEYAPPARA WATERFALLS

Cheeyappara waterfalls located between Neriamangalam and Adimali on the Kochi-Madurai Highway is one of the best trekking locations in Idukki district. The waterfall, set amidst a dense growth of trees, cascades down is seven tiers, which is a real feast for the eyes.

MANKULAM

This is naturally beautiful village near to Munnar. Majority of the people are depended on agriculture and allied activities for their livelihood.

VIRIPARA WATERFALLS

Viripara waterfalls is waterfall in Munnar around 20 kilometers away close to the Letchmi Estate. This one among the very few waterfalls in Munnar where guests could get into the waters. This is that less crowded waterfall in the Valley.

CHITHIRAPURAM VIEW POINT

With its sleepy little cottages, bungalows, old playgrounds and courts, Chithirapuram still exudes an old world charm. Home of the Pallivasal Hydel Power Project, this hill town is also famous for its picturesque tea plantations. Pallivasal, located at about 3 km from Chithirapuram in Munnar is the venue of the first Hydro-electric project in Kerala. It is a place of immense scenic beauty and is often favoured by visitors as a picnic spot.
